As part of the “Inter Home & Office Industry” project promoted by the Business Association of Águeda (AEA) and financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), a Reverse Business Mission was held from 15 to 18 May last the visit of a German delegation of 4 buyers, who visited more than 25 companies in the central region of the district of Aveiro and Coimbra, adherents to the project.
The program of this Mission, organized by the AEA with the collaboration of the Portuguese-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILA), took part in the AEA Reception Session on the 16th, at 9:00 am, followed by visits to companies during the rest of the day and throughout the next day.
This mission aimed to obtain commercial results from the companies visited, in the different production lines. The direct contact was privileged, reason why the leaders of the companies had the opportunity to receive the agents in its own facilities.
At the end of this Inverse Mission, there was a Confraternization Dinner with the German commercial agents, elements of the organization of the event of the AEA and CCILA, and the entrepreneurs of some of the companies visited.
This initiative reinforces the scope of the central objective of the project in reference: to promote the internationalization of the companies that are part of the “Home & Office Industry” in the Central region of the country, more particularly for the German market “.
This mission was possible and is a consequence of a Road Show conducted by the Business Association of Águeda in March, in addition to several articles published in the German press about the region’s industry.
